On the occasion of Peace Day

On my drive back from school this morning, after dropping off the kids,  I was thinking about today’s event the school is holding, where they will get all the students on the field and form the peace sign and sing a song for peace that my son so lovingly sang to me Sunday morning as soon as he opened his eyes.

I can’t help but think about this today, this illusive peace that the world can’t seem to find.  I know that we have to do better, all of us – as a people (humans) and individually.  Smile and the world will smile with you.  I’ve heard this so many times, and I think it works for everything and Peace too.

The world is not about individual’s and personal success, it’s about the Whole.  And we have to grow our hearts as humans and be inclusive not exclusive, and find our peace first so that Peace can be found everywhere else.  So, I wish you all Peace in your heart, in your mind, and at your dinner table.

  1. Dear Anita, Thanks for your beautiful peace commentary. Your children are perfect to represent the peace that is the essential nature of life. Inner fulfilled consciousness is what connects us with that essential peace. It is the birthright of every human being to bring peace from the inside of their life – out to be lived fully in life. May all peace, all good, be enjoyed by you and yours. Love, Diana
